Message From The President of Malaysia Specialty Coffee Association (MSCA)
It gives me great pleasure, in my capacity as President of Malaysia Specialty Coffee Association (MSCA) to share a message in conjunction with the launch of Malaysia Food Business Directory 2018/2019 by Marshall Cavendish (M) Sdn Bhd. All of us from MSCA would like to convey our sincere appreciation to the publisher for the continued dedication and hard work in promoting the Malaysian food, beverage and related industries through this directory.
With a mission to unite, develop and enhance the specialty coffee industry in Malaysia, among some of MSCA’s goals are to unite Malaysian specialty coffee lovers, promote specialty coffee as a lifestyle and culture, encourage cultural and economic exchange, educate Malaysian consumers about specialty coffee and to build, grow and assist the specialty coffee industry. MSCA also organizes a number of competitions such as the Malaysia Barista Championship, Malaysia Latte Art Championship and Malaysia Brewers Cup to increase awareness, promote innovation and enhance the standard of specialty coffee in Malaysia.
Published annually, the Malaysia Food Business Directory serves as a comprehensive, up-to-date and useful one-stop guide for those seeking business contacts in the Malaysian food and beverage industry. Information ranging from Halal and non-Halal food manufacturers, fresh produce farmers and traders, F&B ingredients suppliers and distributors to equipment and machinery providers can be found in this printed directory as well as online at www.foodbizmalaysia.com.
To this end, MSCA is pleased to provide our support to the Malaysia Food Business Directory and would like to urge professionals and the general public to take advantage of information in this directory to facilitate better decision making and encourage industry players to make use of this platform to promote their offerings. Lastly, thank you for inviting us to be a part of this directory and we wish for the continued success of this publication.
